DESCRIPTION:
Clocks- 13 (Thirteen) American: two 19th century cottage models, plus later alarm clocks and desk timepieces. Alarms include 6 from WWII, "War Alarms" as printed on the dials, four of these are in square, hard molded paper mache cases with original black finish. 4 mixed nickel plated alarms (one in a carriage style case) and a mid century Westclox Big Ben.
CONDITION:
the 2 mahogany veneered cottage clocks (one Welch, One Seth Thomas) are in generally good original condition, with original hands, tablets and dials; finish on Welch is excellent the ST finish is discolored and worn on base.. ST dial with stains. The alarms are generally complete and sound except for the one bell top that has a water damaged dial. A mixed lot sold as-is, but with good potential.
